"Reforming Services for Inclusive and Sustainable Development of Asia and the Pacific"

ADB will be holding a conference entitled, "Reforming Services for Inclusive and Sustainable Development of Asia and the Pacific", to be held 11-12 October 2010, in Ramada Hotel, Bali, Indonesia.

The weblink for this conference is: http://www.adbi.org/event/3640.regulatory.reforms.liberalization.services/

As based on the conference page, "The purpose of this conference is to present the findings of the studies and have expert discussion of the regulatory and investment policies that affect services. The participants in the conference will include paper writers, sector experts, and other resource persons who will comment on the various draft reports, and a broader audience including high-level officials of Asian ministries of trade and investments, development planning agencies, multilateral agencies, and academics."

I've talked to the conference contact person, Dr. Gloria Pasadilla, through email. According to her, representatives from the labor sector are welcome, as long as they shoulder their own expenses. There is NO conference fee.
