Government Skills Australia - the Industry Skills Council, that PSI affiliate the ASU works with, for Water Industry Employees Skills and Career Paths, has been funded to promote career and employment opportunities in water as part of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations' Pathfinders Program.
As a result, GSA has developed materials to highlight the many and varied pathways into the Water industry with a focus on providing recruitment strategies targeting Indigenous people and Women who have traditionally been less well represented.
The high media profile issue of sustainability will feature strongly in the laterial and provide a compelling argument for why environmentally conscious people may wish to join the sector (GSA web site - http://www.governmentskills.com.au)
