Australian Local communities are set to benefit as the Minister for Regional Australia, announced approval of a $100 million investment to boost community infrastructure. Local Councils and Shires across the nation will have funds to build key community assets such as playgrounds or sporting fields as nominated in submissions by the local authority.

• Over 20 projects in the Northern Territory, including numerous upgrades to sporting facilities across the Territory.
