PSI affiliates in Australia meet with Union NSW and Professor David Hall of the PSIRU , in Sydney on Monday the 7th February .
The seminar conducted by Professor Hall covered a range of work of the PSI and the PSIRU, from private public partnerships, local government , electricity, health and water services provided by the public services , global trends and the role of the multi nationals and the now national governments that often stand behind them.
Additional issues covered included skills and training, trade and free trade agreements, the tools unions can use from the global reporting initiative, comparative health date, the role of the OECD and private public partnerships.
Unions represented at the meeting included the PSI affiliates in Australia , the ASU - CPSU/SPSF - ETU - Nurses NSW
