Standards Australia is looking to the development of a National Australian and NZ standard for Utility Maps data and information. The project is significant for professional, parra professional areas and support staff in the Australian and New Zealnd, Electricity, Local Govt, Water and Railways Industries. Whilst the host industry will be the electricity distribution & transmission industry the Standard could seek to include telecommunications, water and the gas industry’s assets.
