On World Health Day – 7 April 2011, Public Services International affirms the commitment of our global union federation to support affiliates in working vigorously to strengthen the health workforce through ethical recruitment practices. PSI recognizes that a strong workforce is key to ensuring quality public health services and reversing the trend towards austerity, which will harm recovery from the global economic crisis.
