Australian unions including the ASU have condemned infringements of workers' and human rights that are currently occurring in Fiji. Union meetings have been broken up by police, and some are being arrested for exercising rights we take for granted. To demonstrate our support for Fijian workers, there will be rallies on 2 September and a postcard/email campaign is underway. We encourage our members and friends to get involved. Tell Fijian leader Commodore Bainimarama you support workers' rights and want human rights and freedoms restored in Fiji by sending an email now: >>> send a protest email to Commodore Bainimarama
