PSI is writing to protest in
the strongest terms against the union-busting tactics of the management of
Indonesia’s state-owned electricity company, PT. PLN (Persero), against our
affiliate Serikat Pekerja PT. PLN Persero (SP PLN), whose duly elected
President since 2011 is Mr Fauzi Riza (the position was previously held by Mr
Ahmad Daryoko). PT.PLN has been
systematically interfering in the activities of SP PLN, in violation of ILO
Conventions 87 and 98, ratified by Indonesia. If
