Protest March held on International WOMEN DAY under the aegis of Pakistan Workers Federation Women Wing

http://gmpsiaprec.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/protest-march-held-on-international.html The Government should ensure to implementation of Labour Laws of Social Security and Old Age Benefits and Health  & Safety and working hours and Minimum Wages and prevention of Sexual Harassment at Work Place in order to save them against exploitation and ensure safe healthy working condition and dignity of work for women workers by appointing Female Lady Labour Inspectors and Female Judges and Women Police Station.
The Government should also ensure for the implementation of laws on Dowry and Marriage Function in order to eliminate Social evils and save the suffering poor segments of the Society against Social & Economic repercussions. These demands were raised to day on 8 March, 2012 in a Protest March held on International WOMEN DAY under the aegis of Pakistan Workers Federation Women Wing outside Bukhtiar Labour Hall, Nisbat Road, Lahore and was led by Mrs. Huma Aziz Chairperson alongwith other Trade Union representatives namely Ms. Zahid Akhtar, Ms. Musart Iqbal, Amra Kurram, Shabnam Manzoor, Ms. Nasreen, Najia Hassan and Lubna Yasmin, . They were carrying Banners and raising slogans in support of these demands.
Earlier, the meeting of Women Workers was held at Bukhtiar Labour Hall, to commemorate "International Women Day" and addressed a large number of Trade Union Workers belonging to the  various affiliate trade union including Government and Semi Government and Private Sector.
The speakers also stressed the need that the fundamental rights of Women for access to education and health and life be ensured since the Government policies had been making rich to richer and poor to poorer and the feudalistic system were required to be abolished for uplift of the Rural Women which were poor of the poorest.
