Australian PSI affiliates have joined with AFTINET to stop some sections of the the Korea-Australia trade deal

Some parts of the trade deal contains an ISDS clause which allows Korean companies to sue Australian Governments if they can claim that a law or policy harms their investment.
The Australian Government has already signed the agreement, but the implementing legislation still has to be voted on in the Senate.
It is really important that we let our Senators know that including an ISDS clause in any trade agreement undermines our democracy and sovereignty.
