PSI Local Government Network Survey - http://gmpsiaprec.blogspot.com.au/2014/12/psi-local-government-network-survey.html further to the blog report at http://gmpsiaprec.blogspot.com.au/2014/10/psi-global-local-government-network.html the positive feed back received along with suggested questions and issues .
The Survey has now been launched at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/asu-gm002
The survey builds on Resolution 34 from Congress 2012, that provided for the development of Affiliate Networks , including Local Government , which was endorsed by Congress with a vote of 97.5%. The Congress debate also included the largest number of Delegates speaking in favour of a Resolution at the Congress. The Resolution was supported by a range of affiliates including Unison UK , Ver.di Germany, GDG – Kmsfb Austria, ASU Australia, JICHIRO Japan as well as other Affiliates .
Whilst Local Government Services differ by Legislative control, geographic needs, cultural and economic influences across the globe, there nevertheless are strong common interests in the Local Government Community and Unions. There is also strong connection in Local Government at an International Employer and/or Industry level .
As part of developing the Global Local Government Network a report was provided to the PSI Asia Pacific Region Executive earlier in the year, which included the building of a Global Network, foreshadowing and supporting a survey for Local Government affiliates, the survey is now published at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/asu-gm002
The Survey should also help determine issues of concern and actions, add contacts to our Network, build the Network generally, as well as move to our First PSI Local Government Network meeting in 2015 .
The survey builds on our opportunity for PSI Local Government Affiliates to exchange information, via facebook, blogs, web sites, email, as well as traditional conferences and meetings. All to allow PSI Local Government Unions to develop resource sharing, common purpose actions and looking to fight back Conservative Government’s agendas.
To start all of this, we need your advice and ask if you could visit and complete the Survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/asu-gm002
