This OECD report covers a range of issues around the sustainable development including, health, education, gender, water and sanitation.. 

• A strong role for Local Government in delivering for the community, including revenue raising, see below extract (p74)
• Solid references to the Sustainable Development Goals and a Strong role for Local Government and Civil society (p52) 
• " A transformative agenda involving aggregated and coherent actions at local, national and regional and global level " (p 46) 
• " It requires active involvement of all sections of society , and a whole of Government approach, and policy including local government "(p47)
