AFTINET launched a plain language leaflet on health and the TPPA: http://aftinet.org.au/cms/sites/default/files/FreeTradeSept2011.indd_.pdf

Intellectual property experts from the US consumer advocacy group Public Citizen have analysed the implications that the US proposals for IP provisions in the TPPA would have on access to medicines. Their chart can be found at: http://aftinet.org.au/cms/sites/default/files/Chart%20on%20US%20TPPA%20Proposal,%20Australian%20Law%20and%20Access%20to%20Medicines.pdf

PHAA and AFTINET put out a media release about this on 1st September, see: http://aftinet.org.au/cms/sites/default/files/Media%20release%20IP%20310811%20FINAL%20poss.pdf

It has been covered in  an article on Criky http://blogs.crikey.com.au/croakey/2011/09/01/new-trade-agreement-threatens-australias-laws-on-medicines-and-tobacco/#more-6176
