The Prime Minister gives
notice that, the Governor-General in Council, acting on the Prime
Minister’s recommendation under section 64 of the Constitution:
Abolished the following
Departments of State:
The Department of Education,
Employment and Workplace Relations
The Department of Regional
Australia, Local Government, Arts and Sport
The Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism
