Japan - the G7 Ise-Shima Summit will be held on 26 and 27 May.

Ahead of it, civil society organizations (CSOs) have come together to hold “The Citizens’Ise-Shima Summit”at Yokkaichi-City, Mie-Prefecture, Japan on 23 and 24 May.
During the two days, fifteen thematic meetings will be held. The themes include "Disaster", "Globalization and Health" and "Sustainable development Goals (SDGs)".

"Citizen Declaration" will be adopted during the plenary session on 24 May.
Hiroo Aoba, PSI Sub-regional Secretary for East Asia, will participate in some thematic meetings, as well as the plenary session.
The English version of "Citizen Declaration" will be introduced, as soon as it becomes available.
The CSOs will send messages to local, regional and international communities from the International Media Center in Mie Prefecture Sun Arena from 25 May onward.

G7伊勢志摩サミットが5月26日、27に開催されます。これに先立ち、23日、24日の2日間、市民社会団体が連携、「2016年G7サミット市民社会フ?ラットフォーム」および「東海『市民サミット』ネットワーク」の主催の下、「市民の伊勢志摩サミット」を三重県四日市市において開催します。
この2日間、「災害」、「グローバリゼーションと健康」、「持続可能な開発目標(SDGs)」を含む15のテーマに関する分科会が開催されます。
24日午後の全体会において「市民からの宣言文」が採択される予定です。
また、25日以降、主催者団体事務局は国際メディアセンターから世界へ向けてさまざまなメッセージを発信する予定です。
PSIは「2016年G7サミット市民社会プラットフォーム」に賛同団体として参加しており、引き続き「市民サミット」発の提言等をご紹介させていただきます。
