Recently I meet with a Union Delegation from the Beijing Municipality Federation of Trade Unions who were in Australia (Sydney) to meet with Unions on the role of Unions in Australia , collective bargaining, union structures and the role of Union members in Australia in the operation of their union and collective bargaining and more. The Delegation will be visiting NZ also before returning to China - as I have mentioned before the building of cross Union dialogue is important both now and in the future , as trade and technology break down the old trade barriers and our Government move for regional free trade agreements union need to build there networks - the reasons for the establishment of the ILO and its on going roll are more important than ever - how long is it since you have visited the ILO web site
