Earlier this week I had the opportunity to meet with a Delegation from the All-Wuhan Federation of Trade Unions , when they visited Sydney ... issues I was able to brief the Delegation on included - the role of Unions in Australia, the history of the Australian Union movement, current activities, international pressure on labour relations, legal structure of Unions and the general industrial landscape - brief meetings like this are important in both the context of adding to international understanding, helping build increased understandings of the roles Union's play and can play, plus increasing opportunities for workers - in particular with Australia's largest trading partner .
