The Indian National Electricity Workers Federation organised a press conference to highlight the below study
report, this resulted in the imminent threat of privatisation of electricity being reported by the media (in Hindi, the local language). PSI South Asia Office and the Federation have taken up these concerns with the ADB Project officer and the Director of South Asia Electricity
Dept in ADB, during the ADB BOG meeting. PSI will continue to argue for conditionalities to loan agreements, whereas the study
has concretly proved they are needed, PSI will also continue to have
