meeting with Beijing Municipal Federation of Unions

Recently I meet with a number of representatives of the Beijing Municipal Federation of Unions who were in Sydney. The delegation included the Wang Beiping Vice Chairman of the Federation and the Guo Jianqiang Vice Director of the Trade Union Rights and Interests  Department . The purpose of the visit was to lean about the history of Australian Unions , their operations, structure and role. The opportunity also arose to discuss the operations of government, state owned corporations, and international union roles including the Public Services International. Meetings like these are important to outline the role Unions play and the benefits they have achieved for their Members.
