several European governments. A group of international organisations with whom
EPSU and PSI have worked over the years now draws attention to the lack of

the need for continued pressure also in the EU to ensure governments life up to
their commitments. It underpins the importance of the European Citizens
Initiative that has been started on the human right to water and which is
supported by trade unions, environmental and social organisations as well as
local and national politicians.
