Hiroaki
Aragane, vice president of JICHIRO received the 2012 PSI Public Service Trade
Union award in a ceremony at PSI's world congress. JICHIRO showed remarkable leadership, courage and commitment in coming to
the aid of citizens following the earthquake, the tsunami and nuclear disaster
of March 11, 2011. The members of JICHIRO, through their continuing work
throughout the world, have shown the key role that public services play in times
of disaster.
