EPSU Water

http://www.epsu.org/a/9019 You will recall that EPSU together with a large group of other organisations protested against the pressure the Troika is exerting on Greece and Portugal to privatize the water companies. The Commission sent us back a letter in which it argued that a private approach is better and private business will deliver more efficiency and lower costs  http://www.epsu.org/a/9019.  There is little evidence for this view, especially concerning utilities. A German tv station has now published further material on how the European Commission is seeking the opening up of water resources.
