This week I meet with representatives of the Chinese Zhejiang provincial federation of trade unions, including the vice chairman of Jinhua municipal federation of trade unions,. the meeting allowed discussion on the history of the union movement, how they operate today , their past and current challenges and important outcomes and the Independence and democratic structure and operation of the Australian Union Movement - along with the role of Global Union Federations like the PSI .
