local government workers and electricity distribution workers - now dealing with floods across Australia

http://gmpsiaprec.blogspot.com.au/2013/01/local-government-workers-and.html In recent weeks local government and electricity workers across a number of states of Australia have been involved in actions - http://gmpsiaprec.blogspot.com.au/2013/01/australia-bush-fires-local-government.html  Now its floods and cyclones that local governmental and electricity supply workers that are involved in with storm and emergency actions.
Local Government workers  are involved in many actions including everything from cleaning blocked water ways, using Local Government plant and equipment to move sand and building products into place, to stop floods, protect towns, make roads safe, clean up fallen trees, keep water services running, getting the public away from dangerous beaches, emergency centers, managing emergency calls, working with Emergency Service Volunteers (SES) and much more helping the public and making our communities safe.
With Electricity Industry Workers clearing dangerous electricity cables and poles, restoring electricity supply to towns, parts of large cities, regional and coastal Australia, and behind all of this the call centers staff , stores and equipment management, emergency crews and much more making it all happen .
