The Asian Development Bank is doing a mid-term review of its Strategy 20/20.

 http://www.adb.org/strategy-2020-mid-term-review  This long-term strategic framework guides ADB’s operational work, which gives priority to the private sector, until year 2020. Adopted in 2008 with much debate and opposition from within and outside of the Bank, Strategy 20/20 has identified infrastructure, environment, regional cooperation & integration, finance sector development, and education as key operational areas. These in effect takes up 80 percent of ADB’s current operations.

Spearheading the mid-term review is the Bank’s Strategy and Policy Department (SPD), which has recently released a Concept Note Update. Please refer to the attached file. Per the NGO Center, the Bank will conduct multi-stakeholder consultations; but they are still finalizing the timeline, structure, number of consultations, and invited participants. Rest assured that we shall keep you updated on this.
