Korean unions continue to fight against privatisation amid victimisation

http://www.aawl.org.au/content/korean-unions-continue-fight-against-privatisation-amid-victimisation This week another large rally was held in Seoul against the government’s attack on workers’ right to organise and against privatisation. The fight against privatisation has been particularly felt in the railway and health sectors. Following on from their mobilisations against privatisation of the country’s railway system, railway workers are now being victimised by their employer. In the meantime, unionists like Kim Jungwooare in jail for the ‘crime’ of being a labour organiser.

Organising is not a crime! Free all jailed trade unionists!
