The union pointed out problems of forced contract out to K-Water and Korea Environment Corporation by misusing subsidy as a measure for privatization and we demanded government to stop privatization policy as always. Government and Korea Environment Corporation in cooperation with K-Water aggressively restarted water privatization since last year and as a result of that 2 local governments in Gangwon province had to signed privatization contract with Korea Environment Corporation Dec. 2013 and Feb. 2014.
