APEC - Statement on Supporting Multilateral Trading System

The meeting included the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) , the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC), the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF), and the APEC Secretariat.

This includes a range of references to Private Public Partnerships in general , the free Trade Area of the Asia Pacific, encourage further engagement between the public and private sector to address impediments to and facilitate services trade growth, including through conducting public-private dialogues, a further reference to Public-Private Partnership on Environmental Goods and Services (PPEGS) , plus more issues that will interest Unions working in Public Services Areas .
