http://www.smh.com.au/business/the-economy/ato-issues-warning-letters-to-136-multinationals-under-new-multinational-antiavoidance-law-20160812-gqr3qf.html

In the above media article , published over the weekend, in the Sydney Morning Herald, the Australian Governments Tax collection office says

" The Australian Taxation Office has more than doubled the number of multinational companies being targeted for tax avoidance, vowing to hit offending corporations with big tax bills and hefty fines. "

" The Tax Office told Fairfax Media that they had identified 175 companies that potentially fall within scope of the federal government's Multinational Anti-Avoidance Law – which aims to address the problem of multinational companies using loopholes to minimise tax paid in Australia"

The Tax Commissioner also advises in the video, of his report to the Parliamentary  "Senate Legislative Committee"  connected to the article, that the Tax dept, has had enough of the excuses, the gaming of the system and the poor responses of the companies and its now time for them to pay their fair share of Taxation .

The article and the video are worth reading and watching and passing onto and Government Representatives in other Countries.

(nb without all paying their fair share of Taxation, there are no public services for all )
