An interesting newspaper article published recently, in Australia, reported on the critical electricity shortages and fears of supply, over the recent hot weather periods ....of importance, but not spelled out in the article is the two states that had enough electricity supply were the two , eastern states , states that the main base load electricity generation remains in public sector hands… these are the states that did not privatise their electricity power stations and continue to build, own and operate government owned electricity utilities. Just another argument that supports the anti-privatisation argument - it’s about access to electricity, not profit !!
