“Reshama”, a women garment worker has been rescued alive by the rescue workers & the members of Bangladesh Armey after 17 days (exactly 395 hours & 30 minutes) of the building collapse in Savar nearDhaka. She is now under medical care in Military Hospital & recovering.
During last 17 days she managed to drink only water & got very little space to move but could not find any way to come out. While removing the rabbles, the rescue workers noticed the existence of an alive person & detected her exact position. Finally at 4.30 pm on 10 may 2013 the rescue workers managed to rescue “Reshma” & referred to Combined Military hospital. Congratulations to our rescue workers, great job.
By this time the death total has been reached as 1117 in the building collapse incident
