The Workers & Engineers of
Electricity Distribution Companies pledged to continue to improve the standard
of provision of BETTER SERVICES to the Electricity Consumers. They demanded to the Government to raise cheap Generation
in the Public Sector and Develop
Transmission of Electricity System on War Footing basis and provide Safety to
the field staff against the accused
causing theft of Electricity and committing violence against the staff during the performance of their duties.
Mr. Asad Lilian Khan, Chief Engineer, PESCO
was made victim of terrorism by the accused of theft of Electricity during the performance
of his duties earlier and remained under treatment for six months and two members of Electricity Staff were brutally killed
in Islamabad Capital of City while detecting theft of Electricity by the accused. It speaks itself the agony and
unsafe working condition of

Global Village without provision of Electricity cheaper rate and without load
shedding . Electricity Workers perform their duties by sacrificing their live almost 200 Nos. and far more becoming permanently
disabled every year due to serious shortage of staff and unsafe working
